Revora Privacy Policy
Revora is a social networking, community, and garage management app for car enthusiasts. This policy explains the information handled by the Revora operator and how that information is used.
1. Information We Handle
We may handle the following information to provide the service, authenticate users, protect the community, respond to support requests, and manage subscriptions.

- Push notification tokens: FCM token, device type, and notification preferences
- Reports and blocks: report details, block status, and information required to review safety concerns
- Usage information: a random anonymous identifier generated on the device for PostHog, app version, device and OS type, and events for the start, success, or failure of key actions

Revora does not send email addresses, names, display names, post or message content, images or image URLs, QR code contents, Firebase user IDs, or precise location information to PostHog. Session Replay is not used.
2. How We Use Information
- To create accounts, sign users in, and authenticate identity
- To provide profiles, posts, comments, direct messages, group Talk, garage management, cards, and collections
- To show online mutual friends on the map
- To let users who explicitly enable TREAD confirm that they passed near one another
- To temporarily confirm that users are near one another during QR card exchange
- To verify and restore subscriptions, manage expiration dates, and apply plan limits
- To deliver push notifications, unread indicators, and important service notices
- To handle reports and blocks, prevent abuse, protect users, and moderate the community
- To respond to support requests, deletion requests, incident investigations, and quality issues
- To aggregate anonymous usage information and identify actions or features that need improvement
3. Third-Party Services
Revora uses third-party services including Google Firebase, Google Sign-In, Google Play, Apple, Apple Push Notification service, and PostHog. The principal services are Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage for Firebase, Cloud Functions for Firebase, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase App Check, Google Play Billing, StoreKit, and PostHog Product Analytics. They are used for authentication, data and image storage, notifications, abuse prevention, server processing, subscription verification, and anonymous usage analytics.
4. Location Information
Revora uses location information for online location sharing, TREAD proximity checks, QR card-exchange proximity checks, and the hide-near-home feature.
Online location sharing begins only after the user explicitly turns Online on. While Online is active, location is sent to the server to show the user's current position to mutual friends. An online session ends automatically after three hours, and a reminder is sent every 30 minutes while it is active. Revora does not share location with friends while Online is off.
TREAD operates only while the user has turned Online on, explicitly enabled TREAD, and has the TREAD screen open. Current location and location accuracy are sent temporarily to the server for proximity checks. TREAD history stores a summary of the user's public profile and public card and the detection time, but does not store coordinates, distance, or travel routes. History is no longer displayed after up to 24 hours. TREAD does not automatically exchange cards or follow users.
The hide-near-home feature stores the selected map-pin coordinates and radius on the user's device. It does not store a written address. Within the hidden area, Revora shows only that the user is online and does not send or display the user's precise location to friends.
During a QR card-exchange proximity check, location is used temporarily to calculate distance. Exchange history does not store coordinates or addresses, though it may store the result of the proximity check.
5. User-Generated Content
Revora lets users create or send content such as profiles, vehicle images, posts, comments, direct messages, and group Talk messages. Depending on the feature and visibility settings, this information may be shown to other users. Do not post personal information or content that infringes another person's rights.
6. Reports, Blocks, and Moderation
Users can report inappropriate posts or users and can block other users when needed. If Revora determines that content or conduct violates the Terms of Use or creates a safety concern, Revora may remove content, restrict access, suspend an account, or take other appropriate action.
7. Account and Data Deletion
To request account or data deletion, use the in-app account deletion feature or visit the Account and Data Deletion page. Revora may verify identity and confirm the data covered by a request. Records required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or service operation may be retained for an appropriate period.
Deleting a Revora account does not automatically cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription. To stop recurring charges, cancel the subscription through the store where it was purchased before deleting the account.
8. Sharing and Tracking
Revora does not sell or disclose personal information to third parties except when required by law, necessary to address fraud or safety concerns, provided to service providers under appropriate controls for operating Revora, or authorized by the user.
Revora does not sell or share location information, posts, messages, email addresses, or similar information for third-party advertising, data brokerage, or cross-service targeted advertising.
